Becky Carbone Interiors is a boutique interior design firm serving Norwell, Scituate, Cohasset, Hingham, Duxbury and throughout the South Shore and beyond. From updating a living room to designing a new build, BCI specializes in creating customized interior design plans unique to our clients across the South Shore and Metrowest.
My home in Norwell started as the inspiration for my business “Farmhouse Fresh Interiors” in 2015 and I while I still have a deep fondness for antique farmhouses, as a brand I wanted something to reflect the less rustic, slightly more refined direction my aesthetic had been going in. In 2023, I rebranded & simplified to “Becky Carbone Interiors.” Over the years, my projects have become largely textile driven, with a strong emphasis on fabrics and wallpaper as key components of the design plans that I create.
While many designers and brands have developed a signature look over many years, mine has very much been color, pattern & textile driven. Furnishings are my bread & butter. From a newly renovated space that became an empty room and a great reason to start over, to a dated room that needs a complete refresh, I really love the furnishing side and providing a fun, exciting space full of color & pattern.
I am an 18 year resident of Norwell, MA and grew up in neighboring Scituate, where most of my family resides. I graduated from Syracuse University alongside my husband Jesse. We have two boys, Ben & Harry, who are constant reminders of how important function and durability are to family spaces. And that real life does not look like an Instagram picture, even though we all wish that it did!

Now that The Summer I Turned Pretty is sadly over, I’m anxiously awaiting the new season of Nobody Wants This, Shrinking, Ted Lasso, The Bear, Your Friends & Neighbors (I could go on & on…) but my classic go to’s will always be Frasier & Gilmore Girls.
Free time
Road tripping to Maine with my husband & scouting out places for our next chapter. Walking with friends. Reading/Netflixing. Grabbing a cosmo at our local regular go to - Cheever Tavern. Watching tennis on TV. I’m a Scituate native and any chance to get to Minot beach, I will take!
When not designing
My oldest son is now in college but my youngest is in high school & doesn’t drive yet. My non working hours are usually spent driving to area golf courses and cooking lots of meals for him.

Nancy Meyers movies. Design magazines like House Beautiful, Veranda, Home & Garden. Design books.
Favorite colors to work with
I get really excited when clients tell me they love green! Blues are wonderful & classic but green is making a run right now and there’s so many fun shades to incorporate, mixed in with blues & neutrals, wood tones & satin brass.
Early morning routine

Surprising fact
I ran the Boston Marathon in 2006 and it is still my proudest personal accomplishment to this day.
